About Us
Shining Lights Early Childhood Center opened its doors in September 1998. As a ministry of Bethel Baptist Church, we endeavor to provide parents of all backgrounds and needs with the best quality childcare at a reasonable cost.
All of our teachers and aides are members of local Bible–believing churches and are involved in ministry.
In September 2011, we will relocate to our facility at 1721 Springdale Road in the Bethel Baptist Church Family Center, just across the street from our current location. This change will allow us to add infant and toddler classes, as well as give us additional space for creating inviting and exciting learning centers for our children!
We view each child as an individual and meet his or her needs accordingly. We keep our class sizes small so that we can teach a more manageable group, thereby maximizing the potential for learning.
We are fully licensed by the State of New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services to serve children ages 6 weeks through school-age. In December 2009, we were reaccredited through the Association of Christian Schools International . This helps to ensure that Shining Lights is not only meeting the state licensing standards, but is working to maintain a higher standard for our children and families.
